ABSTRACT

The students’ scientific research and publications are considered as an essential element in the training of future health professionals. The main indicators of productivity and visibility of the journal are presented, as well as the most cited articles, using Google Scholar database. Publish or Perish was the tool used. The assessment by scientometric indicators evaluates not only the journal itself, but also it allows the comparison with other journals of similar characteristics and decision-making strategies. A permanent work is necessary in order to improve the quality of publications
