ABSTRACT

From an anthropological point of view, we approach to a philosophical reflection on the anthropological assumptions made by Hegel, based on the work La dialéctica del amo y el esclavo en Hegel, written by Kojeve. According to Hegel, if naissance is related to the finitude of the human being, there will be just a sole manner to think on what be- ing human is, and what its world consists of. Furthermore, a manner of interaction, which will shape the confrontation towards the challenges of life. On the other hand, since the understanding of culture as a constitutive element of the human being, death is certain to the human, however, he has not been meant to die; therefore, there are different manners to think what being human is, and what its world consists about, which set human relations in a different way. Thus, other modes to confront the challenges of life.
