ABSTRACT

Loss of sagittal balance is a well-established cause of pain that significantly affects patients’ quality of life. For the recovery of the balance there are techniques such as osteotomies as well as minimally invasive surgery using percutaneous vertebroplasty. A case is presented of a patient who develops fractures in adjacent segments of a corrective osteotomy, which are managed by vertebroplasty with restoration of the clinical and radiographic sagittal balance.
