ABSTRACT

Introduction: Actually the quick increment of the employment and development of the scientific and technical information and the information and communications technologies (TICs) demands in the workers to face and to overcome the requirements of quality and excellence of their formation, wisely for that, the acquisition of informational competitions, abilities and study of the up-to-date bibliography at the world level, facilitates them a better and more effective acting of their works. The health sector doesn't constitute an exception and inside it, the thematic of Occupational Health. A work of search, recompilation and organization from the existent information to world level was carried out. Objectives: To identify publications and outstanding institutions of the Occupational Health and to contain them in form of directories. Material and method: Was requested information to experts and workers of long experience like primary data that propitiated elements to organize bibliographical revisions and searches in Internet and to carry out visits to specialized entities, gathering information later on revised, organized and classified that it allowed the elaboration of the directories of institutions and publications related with the Occupational Health as products in permanent construction and systematic upgrade. Results: Were obtained two up-to-date directories of consultation to disclose to national and international level and four additional materials that contribute to perfect the work of the Library and the Teaching and Researching Department of the institution.
