ABSTRACT
Introduction: Rett syndrome is a rare neuropsychological development disor-der, occurs almost exclusively in girls and causes a progressive disability. Case report: it is presented a follow-up patient in the Child Psychiatry Consultation. Conclusions: what is interesting about the case is that the clinical manifestations of Rett syndrome are shown, as well as the importance of early diagnosis and timely multidiscipli-nary and intersectoral treatment.
