ABSTRACT

Attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a disease that affects children, teenagers and adults all over the world, which has been misdiagnosed due to the difficulty of the diagnostic criteria and the absence of laboratory studies. It presents a multifactorial etiology and is very often associated with others psychiatric disorders. This disorder significantly affects the patient's life, therefore, its study and management is paramount.
