ABSTRACT

We report the clinical case of a 45-year-old patient with a hidden breast cancer. The clinical situation in which axillary lymph nodes affected by adenocarcinoma metastasis are detected, but without evidence of tumor in the breast, is not frequent. Nowadays, a different surgical behavior is applied, more focused on the treatment of the armpit, which evolves from a mastectomy to only an ipsilateral axillary emptying.
