Development of the manipulatives activities in people with Parkinson disease

ABSTRACT

Introduction. Assisting to the motor affections that people present with Parkinson disease, as well as the severity of the manifestations and to the grade of inability in the realization of the manipulatives activities, the treatment goes directed to improve the alterations or at least to maintain or to prolong the sick person's functionality during the biggest possible time. Methods. It was carried out a descriptive study in an intentional way, one worked with a sample of forty people with Parkinson disease, which presented the same inclusion approaches, with a time of evolution between two to five years approximately, six weekly frequencies of a daily hour and a time of demurrage in our center among four eight weeks. Results. The analysis of the results of this study was carried out in the defectologic department, (trying to place and to move way the fine pegs of the clavier 10 x10), with a repetition in seconds thirty so much initial as final; to compare the same ones we apply the average, taking out the stocking and I eat method statistic the Test T. Conclusions. When concluding the investigation people with illness of Parkinson, they obtained significant improvement in the activities manipulatives.
