Science is the generation of new knowledge. In the case of Biomedical Sciences, the main objective to generate new knowledge is to increase life expectancy, eliminate pain and, consequently, improve the quality of life of human beings. The generation of knowledge begins with a question based on a problem that affects a specific population and that must be solved. In this way, it is expected that the results obtained from the associated and generated research project will contribute to a better understanding of the problem and eventually influence the quality of life of the population.
