ABSTRACT

Currently, drug use remains a topic of concern to society. Drug consumption is more prevalent in men than in women, and teenage is the main age group involved. Methamphetamine is among the most powerful psychoactive drugs, with a large number of consumers worldwide. Their use has an oral and systemic impact, so consumers require special attention and the perceptiveness of the physician to detect changes in the patient’s behavior. The aim of this work is to describe the case of a patient addicted to MA and the impact of this addiction on dental health as well as to provide the tools referred to by several authors for the better management of methamphetamine users.
