ABSTRACT

Odontology, as one of the health sciences, incorporates the advances of bioethics in this knowledge and techniques. However, this incorporation in the professional practice of dentist has been based on their own field of action, unlike other health professionals. The consequence of this is that the vision and application of stomatologists is usually not very receptive to criticism and generated in very controlled enviroments. Bioethics involves the systematic and profund study if human behavior in the field of health sciences which is based on moral values and principles is an important discipline for the training of health personnel to create awareness in the application of knowledge, our professions have the purpose of understanding that each individual is unique and not only dedicated to the clinical performance and care of the mouth but to achieve a better quality of life in patients.
