ABSTRACT

Sensibility to nickel is a frequent problem, the international literature say that 10% of women and 1% of men are affected.
The frequency of the problem on men has been increased considerably in the last years related with the pearcings fashion. We call nickel scabies to the cutaneous manifestations of a systemic sensibilation caused by this metal; with topography and morphology which remainds us a parasitosis caused by Sarcoptes scabiei. Clinically in our media is uncommon and the international literature we found some isolated cases to this respect. In our service is a common cause of consult. We present a case of a feminine patient with characteristic manifestations, and also a brief review of literature.
