ABSTRACT

The optimization of supplies and biological reagent samples, as well as those of patients, is essential in any laboratory of any institution. However, such optimization cannot take place without basic knowledge of quality control and without a periodical update of operating personnel. This paper shows some key facts that will help us save time and money in our routine procedures, such as the proper care of the patients’ samples, the use of adequate reagents, the conservation of reagent cells and some basic knowledge of the panel of known phenotype.
