ABSTRACT

Extrapulmonary tuberculosis manifestations are developed in approximately 20% of ill patients. The most common forms are lymph node and genitourinary tuberculosis. Osteoarticular tuberculosis is rare, and occur in about 1.5 to 3% of tuberculosis patients.
The clinical case of an 89-year-old patient is presented; he was diagnosed with coxofemoral tuberculosis and pulmonary thromboembolism.
