ABSTRACT

We present a 28 year old female black patient of peasant appereance with hipertention backgrounds, under no regular treatment for two years. She attended Huambo Hospital Regional Hospital General Surgery service with a visible right side abdominal pain, almost chronic, with no defecatory function for 15 days, showing pure yellow diarrhea. After physical exam we found a hard, almost 20 cm tumor on the right side, with irregular borders and surface. She was diagnosed with mechanical intestinal obstruction and admitted at the General Surgery Service for immediate surgery. We found a big Ileal bulb, which compromised vascular area. We applied intestinal resection of the short vowel.
