ABSTRACT

Introduction: Currently Google is one of the most prestigious and recognized companies in the world, it was created in order to simplify searches and make information accessible. It has an extensive package of services that allows you to manage email accounts, view videos uploaded by other users, store documents in the cloud, know the location by geo satellites, manage online advertising, etc.
Objective: Describe significant aspects of the history of Google and some of its services and tools.
Methods: A classic documentary review was carried out that retrieved information about Google. Google's own search engine was used for information retrieval, as well as other alternatives, including Yahoo and Bing.
Development: In Cuba, despite adverse circumstances, the state promotes strategies to computerize society, in that sense progress has been made with signatures of collaboration agreements with the Google Company.
Conclusions: Google much more, than a company, has become a lifestyle for many people.
