ABSTRACT

Pseudolymphomatous folliculitis is a variant of pseudolymphoma due its clinical and histological features resembling cutaneous lymphomas. Histopathology is characterized by dendritic cells that are positive to s-100 and cd1a. Treatment is based on excisional biopsy as well as antimetabolites such as methotrexate, or spontaneous regression after incisional biopsy can be observed.
We report a 52-year-old female who developed an itchy nodule on the left cheek for a month. Pseudolymphomatous folliculitis was confirmed by histopathology and immunohistochemistry.
