ABSTRACT

The history of the Cuban Revolution is full of courageous combatants who, in the face of all adversities, fought for the independence of the country. In this work, reference is made fundamentally to the health work of some stomatologists in this revolutionary period who share their passion for freedom with that of their profession: the same in the middle of a fight they perform an extraction that returns to their position in the line of fire with his rifle. The objective was to compile testimonies of the exemplary work of these courageous dentists. It was concluded that the work is worthwhile if one takes into account that, in addition to the war situation, living conditions are added to the scarce resources and few possibilities of sterilization of them. What never failed to save lives.
