ABSTRACT

The constant emergence of new pharmacological options, new treatment protocols, as well as the high prevalence of factors that negatively influence medical prescription; They are a challenge for both students and professionals. For these reasons, it is vitally important that teaching methods for reasoned prescription is a systematic process. This article summarizes some of the elements that must be taken into account to use medications rationally, as well as factors that can influence it and examples of bad prescription habits that can be observed in practice.
