ABSTRACT

It is important to know the emergence of the Mexican Society of Cardiology. To count on the evidence of the different historical moments means the possibility of constructing a ordered and comprehensive point of view on the processes which have underlined this organization evolution during these last seven decades of successful life. This seventieth anniversary constitutes a great opportunity to express a deserved acknowledgement to the President of the Mexican Society of Cardiology, ex-Presidents, ex-Council Members from the Nursery staff, members of the Managing Boards, and every member of this Society that someway has contributed to the history of this important institution.
