ABSTRACT
The summary of the activities of Science and Technological Innovation in the area of Cuban Public Health during the year 2019 is presented, in compliance with the functions of science and innovation inherent in the organism. It describes the structure subordinated to the National Directorate, a Technical Advisory Council at ministerial level, a coordinating group for the work of the Research Ethics Committees, the National Council of Health Scientific Societies, with its 54 societies, the Center National Medical Sciences Information Center, the National Clinical Trials Coordinating Center, the Center for State Control of Medicines, Medical Equipment and Devices as well as other institutions and organizations. It aims to describe the System of Science and Technological Innovation in Health.
