ABSTRACT

Demyelinating Pseudotumor is a rare variant of Multiple Sclerosis (MS) characterized by beingan aggressive and rapidly progressive form, it can present as a single large lesion in the deep white substance and more rarely a second lesion reminiscent of multicentric gliomas. It usually leads to severe disabilityor death in week so months, without medical supervision. In patients who survive this disease, a recurrent form of Multiple Sclerosis is observed. A clinical case is described that presents demyelinating pseudotumor of 63 years of age, without a family history of suffering from the disease, with neurological deficit and little improvement after treatment with steroids.
