Unstable plate rupture, Coronary microembolization, Microvascular dysfunction.

ABSTRACT

Rupture of a vulnerable plate within coronary arteries has functional and ultrastructural consequences which sometimes locate for beyond plate localization. Distal microembolization is one of such consequences, other is microvascular dysfunction. It is advisable to consider a pancoronary desestabilization process in the planning of an optimal strategy for acute coronary syndromes.
