ABSTRACT

Malaria is characterized by being a systemic febrile disease, which is a product of infection by one of the 6 Plasmodium species, which is transmitted to humans through the bite of mosquitoes of the genus Anopheles, of the Culicidae family, this sting generally occurs between dusk and dawn. This pathology occurs in the tropical regions around the world, with high globally rates of incidence, which despite having shown a downward trend in the recent years, it continues to be a public health problem in the endemic regions.
