ABSTRACT

As a result of the pandemic generated by SARS-CoV-2, one of the challenges with the greatest impact for doctors is the on line medical consultation. It has become part of some doctors and patients daily lives. Given the high risk of contagion posed by going to medical centers and the fact that prevents healthy distancing in such individuals have had to use technological tools to whenever possible, carry out follow-ups and medical consultations in cases in which physical examination or physical consultation is not essential and particularly in patients considered vulnerable. However, this has led to these activities being fulfilled with certain doubts regarding their legality, since the use of this technology in health is not regulated in Mexico and in many places in the world. Thus, we will analyze the weighting of rights between the lack of regulation using this health technology and the risk of carrying out medical consultation when it can be dispensed with.
