ABSTRACT

Health is increasingly linked to the human-animal interrelation. The current COVID-19 pandemic as an apparent emerging zoonosis, because is pending to determine its primary animal source. Therefore, we should be considered that, in order to have a comprehensive control of it, we should focus not only on the intervention in humans, but also in animals and in the environment where they develop. Consequently, a closer and more binding interaction between human and veterinary medicine is required to avoid the beginning of new pandemics caused by zoonoses.
