ABSTRACT
At first, an approach to evidence-based-practice conception is presented, focusing the specific meaning in nursing care and the need of change the mind (ontological and epistemological foundations) in accord to an holistic scope.
The relationship between evidence-based practice and knowing patterns are analyzed, meanwhile different kind of nursing care evidences exist. In this sense, we can also recognize diverse hierarchies. At last, some misconceptions about evidence-based practice and some strategies to enhance it for educative nursing centers and health care services are presented.
