Hernia interna por divertículo de Meckel: una causa rara de obstrucción intestinal

RESUMEN

El divertículo de Meckel (DM) es el remanente del conducto onfalomesentérico y se considera la malformación congénita más común del tracto gastrointestinal. La mayoría de los pacientes son asintomáticos; sin embargo, aquellos en los que se desarrollan síntomas, estos pueden manifestarse como: dolor abdominal, hemorragia de tracto gastrointestinal, perforación u obstrucción intestinal. El objetivo de este reporte es presentar un caso de hernia interna secundaria a un divertículo de Meckel, siendo esta una causa poco frecuente de obstrucción intestinal.
