Lesión esplénica secundaria a peritonitis. Reporte de un caso

RESUMEN

Se reporta el caso de un paciente con apendicitis aguda perforada de una semana de evolución que cursa con peritonitis y con desgarro esplénico secundario a ésta. Se discute el caso y se propone como mecanismo de lesión la tracción de un asa intestinal adherida al bazo por membranas de fibrina. Así mismo, se revisan algunos aspectos con relación al diagnóstico, al manejo conservador, apoyado en los estudios de imagen y al manejo quirúrgico de las lesiones esplénicas.
