Emergencias en el consultorio dermatológico

RESUMEN

La práctica dermatológica ha crecido en los últimos años, y es cada vez más frecuente la realización de procedimientos quirúrgicos, así como el uso de terapias farmacológicas novedosas en el tratamiento de enfermedades cutáneas. A pesar de que la mayoría de los procedimientos y medicamentos administrados se consideran de bajo riesgo, siempre existe la posibilidad de que algún tipo de emergencia médica se presente en el consultorio dermatológico. Se hizo una revisión del abordaje y tratamiento oportuno de las principales emergencias médicas a las que un dermatólogo se puede enfrentar en el consultorio.
