ABSTRACT

The dermatological practice has grown in recent years, with the frequent performance of novel surgical procedures, and the use of new pharmacological therapies in the treatment of skin diseases. Despite the low risk of adverse events and complications of most procedures, the possibility of a medical emergency at the dermatology office is always present. This is a review of the most frequent medical emergencies a dermatologist may face at their office with its timely approach and assessment.
