Conducta alimentaria de riesgo y autolesión no suicida en población comunitaria: revisión narrativa

RESUMEN

Ante el aumento de la prevalencia de conductas alimentarias de riesgo (CAR) y autolesiones no suicidas en población no clínica, se propuso como objetivo de la presente revisión narrativa, identificar algunos de los principales hallazgos y ejes de investigación, para considerarlos en estudios futuros. A través de las búsqueda en las bases de datos en PubMed, ScienceDirect y Dialnet, se encontraron 1984 artículos que exploraron la relación entre conductas autolesivas y conductas alimentarias de riesgo, con la aplicación de criterios de selección como el idioma español e inglés y la revisión de los resúmenes, se eligieron 16 estudios a analizar. Los artículos abordan tres temáticas generales: factores transdiagnósticos de CAR y autolesiones, la asociación de ambas como forma de afrontamiento, y la relación de ambas con el incremento de riesgo suicida. Es necesario desarrollar trabajos preventivos dados los altos niveles de psicopatología presentada en muestras comunitarias.
