RESUMEN

Actualmente, los medicamentos antiespasmódicos son usados frecuentemente como tratamiento del síndrome de colon irritable. No exentos de inocuidad, la rabdomiólisis por antiespasmódicos como el fenaverino se ha presentado a lo largo de su salida al mercado, provocando insuficiencia renal aguda, no dependiente de dosis.
