Teratoma maduro de ovario como causa de abdomen agudo. Reporte de un caso

RESUMEN

Los teratomas son tumores compuestos por elementos derivados de dos o más capas embrionarias. Histológicamente se dividen en: maduro, inmaduro y monodérmicos o muy especializados. Han sido descritos en varios sitios, la localización más común (83.2%) es el ovario. El 11% de las afectadas debutan con cuadro de abdomen agudo secundario a torsión o ruptura del tumor ovárico, con datos ultrasonográficos característicos en 16% de los casos.
Presentamos el caso de femenino de 27 años de edad que acudió a urgencias por dolor abdominal agudo, diagnosticándose teratoma de ovario derecho.
