INTRODUCCIÓN

El manejo de la vía aérea pediátrica es un desafío de alta complejidad y bajo margen de error. El éxito depende de tres pilares: anticipación diagnóstica, preservación de la ventilación espontánea y la selección de herramientas ópticas (fibroscopía/videolaringoscopía) adaptadas a la obstrucción específica del paciente. A continuación, tenemos una serie de casos donde se diagnosticó una vía aérea difícil y describiremos cómo fue su abordaje según los algoritmos actuales de vía aérea en pediatría.
