RESUMEN

Se presenta el caso de un niño recién nacido con dificultad respiratoria en el que una radiografía de tórax mostró una imagen de derrame pleural izquierdo. Se practicó toracocentesis y se hizo el diagnóstico de quilotórax. Se le colocó una sonda en el tórax hasta que desapareció la imagen del derrame, egresando satisfactoriamente.
