Luxación Traumática de cadera en niños, Reporte de 10 casos

RESUMEN

La luxación traumática de cadera en niños es rara, se asocia a traumatismos de alta energía y se obtienen buenos resultados cuando su tratamiento es inmediato. Reportamos los casos de 10 pacientes tratados entre 1984 y 1996, menores de 18 años, todos los pacientes sufrieron un traumatismo de baja energía; el 100% tenía 24 horas o más de evolución y el 80% tenia mas de tres semanas de evolución. Los resultados clínicos fueron en un 60% satisfactorios, no observamos diferencia importante en el porcentaje de complicaciones clínicas y radiográficas de los pacientes tratados en forma temprana de otras series.
