ABSTRACT

Traumatic dislocation of the hip is rare in children, associated with high energy injuries and good results if treatment is immediate. We report 10 cases treated between 1984 and 1996. Al1 suffer low energy injuries, 100% had 24 hours o more of evolution, 80% had more than 3 weeks. We achieved 60% of good results. The complication rate was similar with other series.
