RESUMEN

El síndrome de Doege-Potter descrito en 1930, el cual consiste en un tumor intratorácico asociado a hipoglucemia sintomática, entidad poco frecuente, por lo que se presenta el caso de una paciente de 77 años con antecedente de hipoglucemia y el hallazgo incidental de un tumor de mediastino posterior. La importancia del reporte de este caso es el considerar esta entidad como causa de hipoglucemia en pacientes con diagnóstico de tumores intratorácicos.
