Gangliones sintomáticos en la rodilla. Reporte de casos

RESUMEN
Antecedentes: Usualmente las lesiones quísticas que se observan alrededor de la rodilla son los quistes meniscales o poplíteos. Los quistes dentro de la cavidad articular de la rodilla son raros y cuando se observan son hallazgos incidentales en la resonancia magnética. Los gangliones que provienen de los ligamentos cruzados o la grasa de infrapatelar han sido raramente reportados. Nosotros reportamos los casos de tres gangliones intraarticulares. El diagnóstico clínico fue establecido por resonancia magnética. Todos los pacientes fueron tratados por cirugía artroscópica, utilizando el rasurador sinovial para eliminar el tejido. Los tres pacientes se reportaron asintomáticos durante el seguimiento con un rango de movilidad completo.
Conclusiones: La revisión de la literatura muestra que es controversial el origen de los gangliones. El reporte de estos casos muestra que hay que sospechar esta patología, porque es difícil de diagnosticar. La resonancia magnética es esencial para establecer el diagnóstico y el tratamiento artroscópico es efectivo para el tratamiento de los gangliones intraarticulares.
