RESUMEN

La distrofia ungueal por «tic», es causada por el traumatismo repetido sobre las uñas, que generalmente es precedida por un evento de estrés psicológico y se clasifica como un trastorno obsesivo-compulsivo. El tratamiento deberá ser en conjunto con psicología y en algunas ocasiones con psiquiatría. Se comunica un caso de esta afección.
