RESUMEN

Existen diversas técnicas quirúrgicas para la corrección de las orejas prominentes con el objetivo primordial de restablecer la distancia normal entre el hélix y la región mastoidea. Se describe una técnica para exponer en su totalidad la deformidad cartilaginosa; la primera fase consistió en determinar el patrón circulatorio de un colgajo pericondrio-cutáneo de la oreja, para lo cual se realizaron disecciones en cadáveres frescos y la segunda consistió en la implementación quirúrgica de la técnica en pacientes con orejas prominentes, obteniendo excelentes resultados en todos los casos.
