Uso de colgajo miofascial temporal para remplazo de disco articular con abordaje retroauricular modificado

RESUMEN

Objetivo: El propósito de este artículo es mostrar la versatilidad del abordaje retroauricular modificado para su uso en cirugía de articulación temporomandibular en conjunto con la rotación de colgajo de músculo y fascia temporal para el remplazo del disco articular. La accesibilidad al mismo sitio quirúrgico, la mínima morbilidad estética y funcional y el uso de un colgajo autólogo vascularizado ponen por encima de las demás a esta técnica para remplazo de disco articular. El abordaje retroauricular modificado funciona muy bien en nuestras manos para realizar cirugía de ATM sin importar el procedimiento a realizar.
