RESUMEN

El fenómeno de awaraness o despertar intraoperatorio en un hecho infrecuente pero real. Debido a esto es necesario conocer cuales son sus posibles causas, identificar sus factores de riesgo, reconocer sus síntomas, valorar un tratamiento adecuado pero, sobre todo, prevenir o minimizar las consecuencias que pueda producir.
