RESUMEN

Los tumores de la mano de origen en tejidos blandos son a menudo encontrados y los médicos deben ser capaces de distinguir entre las entidades benignas típicas y las entidades malignas que ponen en peligro la vida. El lipoma de la mano ocupa sólo 5% de los tumores y hay que hacer un diagnóstico diferencial con liposarcoma en caso de lipomas gigantes, dolorosos o de crecimiento rápido y progresivo. Se reporta el seguimiento de dos casos de tumores gigantes de la mano, reportando histológicamente: lipoma y liposarcoma.
