Endocarditis de cable de marcapasos. Reporte de un caso y revisión de la literatura

RESUMEN
Debido a la influencia de los microorganismos de la piel, el porcentaje de endocarditis por marcapasos colocados se presenta entre 1-7%. Se revisa la literatura tomando como pauta el caso de un paciente masculino de 62 años que presentó endocarditis del cable del marcapasos posterior a bloque ventricular de posible origen isquémico.
