RESUMEN

Existe actualmente un incremento en los índices de obesidad en nuestro país; asimismo se han descrito varias enfermedades asociadas con la obesidad, entre ellas algunas del colon como el cáncer de colon, los adenomas del colon y la enfermedad diverticular complicada.
