RESUMEN

La arteria trigeminal primitiva persistente (ATPP) es una variante anatómica rara resultante de la falta de obliteración de la AT embrionaria. La comunicación patológica entre la ATPP y el seno cavernoso (SC) se denomina fístula trigeminocavernosa. Presentamos el caso de una paciente con una fístula trigeminocavernosa secundaria a traumatismo craneoencefálico que fue tratada mediante embolización con coils.
