Macrodactilia: A propósito de una serie de casos en el pie y revisión de la literatura

RESUMEN

La macrodactilia es una anormalidad congénita rara. Se caracteriza por un sobrecrecimiento de los tejidos blandos, de los huesos y de los dedos. El objetivo del tratamiento es obtener un resultado cosmético y funcional. Presentamos cuarenta y seis casos de dedos afectados con macrodactilia en que se realizó amputación en rayo. Los resultados cosméticos y funcionales fueron buenos en los cuarenta y seis pacientes. La amputación en rayo es un tratamiento quirúrgico posible que provee buenos resultados cosméticos y funcionales en dedos con macrodactilia severa.
