Schwannoma Intratorácico: Reporte de un Caso

RESUMEN
Los tumores neurogénicos representan el 20% de todos los tumores en adultos. La gran mayoría
de estos son tumores benignos. Dentro de estos, los Schwannomas son tumores firmes, bien
encapsulados, y son extremadamente raros en el pulmón. Presentamos el caso de una paciente
con un schwannoma en cavidad torácica izquierda, adherido a lóbulo inferior izquierdo, sin
evidencia de origen en algún nervio intratorácico o mediastinico. Se realiza excisión del tumor
con lobectomía inferior izquierda, corroborando el diagnóstico de la pieza por histopatología.
